Department of Excise & Taxation
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of posts of Excise & Taxation Inspectors (Group C) in the Excise and Taxation Department, Punjab :
- Excise & Taxation Inspectors: 164 vacancies, Pay Scale: Rs.5480-8925, Qualification: Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized University or institution or its equivalent and should have passed Punjabi subject up to Matric standard. Candidate should possess at least 120 hours course with working experience in the use of Personal Computers or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Govt. recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified. OR A computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC of Govt. of India., Age: 18-35 years
Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on written examination only. There will not be any interviews.
Application Fee: General Category: Rs. 500/-, SC/ST: Rs. 250/-.All the ex-servicemen of Punjab are exempted from the payment of the fee. The requisite fee should be in the shape of crossed bank draft/ pay order/ bankers’ cheque/ postal order in favour of Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Punjab, payable at Patiala. Candidate should write name and address on the backside of bank draft/pay order/bankers’ cheque/postal order.
How to Apply: The completed application form should be sent by Registered post/ courier/ by hand to the Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Punjab, Bhupindra Road, Patiala – 147001. The last date for submission of the application shall be 15th September 2008.

ReplyDelete1.U should be a gradute atleats ie.(ba,bcom,be,btec,,bba,bca, etc etc)
2.Ur age must be between 18 -35.
3.The test will be off objective type nature which covers different fields like general knowledge,reasoning,numeric ability etc.
4.Even now if U cant understand the basic requirements then I am sure that U should not apply for job & sit at home & enjoy 'KYUNKI SAAS BHI KABHI BAHU THEE' with some lemon water.

i sent 2 passport size photographs pasted on applicatin form and 1 along with. means total 3 photographs.
i want to know that would i be got roll no. slip for exam or not.

well result is declared but they made the results on merit list for money.its not based on the numbers.its all depends upon the money how much others bribe to Punjab government.these government giving the encourage to do a lot of corruption as they people are doing,
