National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) is the largest network of science centres/ museums under a single administrative umbrella in the world, 27 science centres/museums of NCSM located in different sites in India. Following vacancies exist in Scientific cadre in Science Museums and Centres under the National Council of Science Museums all over India:
- Curator ‘B’ : 15 posts (UR-7, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-6), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : 1st class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/ Electronics OR 1st class M.Sc in Physics/ Zoology/ Bio-Technology/ Environmental Sciences with one-year experience in research/ design/ workshop/ teaching. OR M.E/ M.Tech/P h.D (Science) in above disciplines.
- Exhibition Officer B : 02 posts (UR-1, OBC-1), Pay Band: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : 1st class Bachelor’s degree in fine/ commercial art with at least 5 years experience in exhibition display and visualisation.
- Assistant Executive Engineer: 03 posts, Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification: 1st class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in supervision of construction of large buildings/ experience in Air-conditioning work.
