Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) is a scheduled 'A' Public Sector enterprise under the administrative control of Ministry of Power engaged in process of acceleration development of power infrastructure in the country. REC requires :
- Officer (Finance & Accounts) : 04 posts (2 OBC, 1SC, 1 ST), Qualification:-(i) should have 75% marks in S.S.C.(Xth) standard, (ii) should have 75% marks in H.S.C. (XIIth) standard (iii) should have 60% at B.Com. (iv) Inter and final C.A. in first attempt., Age : 32 years for SC/ST and 30 years for OBC (as on 31.8.2010), Pay Scale : Rs. 24900-3%-50500, Walk-In at 10.00 A.M on 11th September 2010
- Graduate Engineers : 03 posts (OBC), Qualification:- (i) should have 75% marks in S.S.C.(Xth) standard (ii) should have 75% marks in H.S.C. (XIIth) standard (iii) should have 65% in BE/ B.Tech, Age : 30 years, Pay Scale Rs. 24900-3%-50500, Walk-In at 10.00 A.M. on 18th September 2010

ReplyDeletethe company has specified that they need CAs cleared in first attempt, i must say that its very difficult for the company itself to have the candidates fulfilling this criteria. its very discouraging to other CAs..

ReplyDeletewhat about selection procedure whereas we understand that there is no interview, selection of such candidate on the basis of secured average marks and individual marks of each 5 public examination. we could not estimate about the merit percentage for merely two OBC candidates

ReplyDeleteaccording the the survey of all the PSU most of the top headed person in any PSU even REC are Cost Accountant.
If they are not calling Cost accountant, means they are loosing themmmmmmmmmmmm
nothing else
It may not be difficult for REC to get such 4 CAs. But I can assure that they will not be able to retain them for more than a year as they can't provide them good job profile. Even MAHARATNA PSUs r not able to keep such guys how can REC. And CWAs should n't worry at all. Again for these posts advt will come.

ReplyDeletePSU will not get CA from reserved categories becuase there is concession to them in terms of marks..
there should be only pass mark in qualifying exam for sc/st candidate according to govt. norms.

ReplyDeleteim happy today bcz obc and sc st candidate today realize the importance of hardworking of general catagory student i think allpsu make no compnesation of marks to any catageory good v good done by rites
ReplyDeleteAtlast PSU's are encouraging minimum qualification criteria.But the question is that how many application will they get!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYES,WHY COST ACCOUNTANT CANT DO SUCH JOB WHICH CA CAN. THEM WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM ONLY DEGREE. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM IS ONLY DEGREE AND NOTHING ELSE.IF COST ACCOUNTANT DURING JOB WITH HIS RIGOROUS TRAINING CAN DO ALL AUDIT WHICH CA CAN. NTPC A MAHARATNA COMPANY DOESN'T HAVE SUCH CRITERIA THEN WHY THEY ARE ASKING SUCH DIFFICULT TASK.
