Become a Permanent Commissioned (PSC) Officer in Law Cadre of Executive Branch Course Commencing - January 2012

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for Permanent Service Commission (PSC) Officer in Law Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2012 at Naval Academy, INS, Zemorin, Ezhimala, Kerala.
Eligibility Conditions: 
  • Age : Between 22 to 27 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1985 to 01 January 19990; both dates inclusive)
  • Educational Qualifications : A Degree in Law  with minimum 55% marks.
  • Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male - 157 cms, with correlated weight. Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 connectable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.
How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects with superscription on the envelope "LAW CADRE - Jan 2012 COURSE, Educational Qualificiaiton ............... Percentage .......% " is to be sent by 14/06/2011 to the address

    Why is the call to fill vacancies in the law cadre of navy being made for the males only? I graduated in law (BA LLB (hons)) in july 2009 and since then (and also since before 2009)no call has been notified for the WOMEN LAW CADRE. When every year they have vacancies for law officer, why applications from men only being called? Why such discrimination?
