Sports Authority of India invites applications for the posts of  Coach Grade-III  for appointment on purely contract basis for an initial period of one year separately for the two zones, one for the SAI North Eastern Centres, Imphal & Guwahati and others for the Rest of the Country :

  • Sport Coach : 100 posts [Archery -7, Athletics 2, Boxing - 20, Cycling-2, Fencing - 5, Hockey -6, Gymnastic-1, Judo -4, Kayaking & Canoeing -3,  Rowing -2, Shooting -7, Swimming & Diving -3,  Taekwondo - 17, Volleyball -2, Weightlifting -3,  Wrestling  -7, Wushu -7], Age : 30 years as on 1/08/2011. Relaxation in age as per rules of Govt. of India., Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200/-, Qualification: Diploma in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS Patiala or from any other recognized Indian/ Foreign University OR Participation in Olympics/ Asian Games/ World Championship in the discipline concerned with a Certificate Course in Coaching., Desirable Qualification: B. P. Ed.

Application Fee:   Rs.500/- (No fee for SC/ST/Women/Ex-SM) in favor of Secretary, Sports Authority of India payable at New Delhi.
