The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) will hold a written examination at various centers for the selection of Suitable Candidates to the following posts of  Engineers in Uttarakhand State Engineering Service Examination 2014 :
  1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 88 posts (UR-71, SC-9, ST-2, OBC-6) in PWD, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014.
  2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical) : 01 post (SC-1) in PWD, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014.
  3. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 30 posts (UR-12, OBC-15, SC-3) in Irrigation Department, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014. 
  4. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : 06 posts (UR-4, OBC-2) in Irrigation Department, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014. 
  5. Assistant Engineer (Agriculture) : 01 post (SC-1) in Small Irrigation Department, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014.  
  6. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : 01 post (UR-1) in Small Irrigation Department, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014.  
  7. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 01 post (UR-1) in Housing Department, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 - 3900 Grade Pay Rs. 5400, Age : 21-42 years as on 01/07/2014.
