MMRDA was set up on the 26th January 1975 under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974 Government of Maharashtra as an apex body for planning and co-ordination of development activities in the Region. Applications are invited for the following permanent posts in MMRDA. :

1. Executive Engineer: 09 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600/- 
2. Deputy Engineer - I: 09 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/- 
3. Deputy Engineer - II  / Junior Engineer: 10 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 9300 - 34800 Grade pay Rs. 4400/4300
4. Office Technical Assistant - Metro: 04 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4400/- 
5. Senior Planner: 03 posts, Pay Scale:  Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- 
6. Planner: 05 posts, Pay Scale:  Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-
