Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Technical University of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) at Katra, Jammu is a fully residential institution set up on the pattern of IITs. The University has established 10 Academic Schools to impart UG, PG and Ph. D. Level education. Applications are invited for faculty vacancy positions at the following level in SMVDU Katra Jammu for the year 2018.

SMVDU Faculty Recruitment 2018 Vacancies

1. Professor : in the School of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture & Landscape Design and Economics, Pay Band : ₹ 37400 - 67000 with AGP of ₹ 10000/-
2. Associate  Professor  in the School of Computer Science & Engineering and Economics, Pay Band : ₹ 37400 - 67000, with AGP of ₹ 9000/-
3. Assistant Professor  in the School of  Economics, Pay Band : ₹  15600 - 39100, with AGP of ₹ 6000/-  

Application Fee 

Application Form should be accompanied with application fee in the form of a DD of ₹500/- drawn in  favour of ‘Registrar, SMVDU’, payable at Katra/Kakryal/Jammu. However,  no  application  Fee  is payable for Ph.D. qualified candidates.
