Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) invites online application on prescribed format for Direct Recruitment to the Sarkari Naukri Vacancy posts of Police Sub Inspector/ Sergeant/ Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct recruitment)/Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) in Bihar Police. BPSSC Bihar Police 2019 Vacancies

1. Police Sub-Inspector: 2064 vacancies, Pay Level-6 Rs. 35400-112400 
2. Sergeant Police: 215 vacancies, Pay Level-6 Rs. 35400-112400
3. Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment): 125 vacancies, Pay Level-5 Rs. 29200-92300
4. Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman): 42 vacancies, Pay Level-5 Rs. 29200-92300

Application Fee

₹650/-  (₹550/- for non-creamy layer OBC / MBC candidates and ₹400/- for SC/ST candidates)  to be paid online.

BPSSC Recruitment Examination Process

BPSSC will conduct the combined written competitive examination in two phases of Preliminary and Main examination for selection of all vacancies under BPSSC Bihar Police Vacancy Recruitment 2019.

The preliminary examination will be of 200 marks having 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and the question asked will be of General Knowledge and Current Affairs.  The number of candidates selected will be 20 times the total vacancies in various categories.

The main examination will have two papers. The first paper will be of Hindi of 200 marks and will be of duration 2 hours having 100 questions. The paper will be for knowledge check and the score of Hindi paper will not be counted in the merit list.

The second paper will consist of questions from General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability. Duration, marks, and the number of questions will be the same as of first paper.
