1. Post: Surveyor
• Vacancies: 2 posts
• Qualification: Three-year full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt. recognised institution with minimum 60% marks in each year of the course (50% for SC/ST candidates.)
• Age in years (as on 01/07/2006): 30 (Age relaxation 5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
2. Post : Draughtsman/ Design Assistant
• Vacancies: 7 posts
• Qualification: Three year full time Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering/ Architectural Assistantship from Govt. recognised institution with minimum 60% marks in each year of the courses (50% for SC/ST candidates.)
• Age in years (as on 01/07/2006): 30 (Age relaxation 5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
3. Selection Procedure: Written Test and interview of candidates qualified in the written test. In case of a large number of applications, short-listing of candidates for calling for the written test will be done on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the eligibility qualification i.e Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
4. Fee: Rs. 200/- for General & OBC candidates, Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates. Non-Refundable Demand Draft drawn in favour of SAIL - A/C DSP payable at Durgapur.
