Union Public Service Commission

UPSC invites applicaiton on prescribed forms by 12th April 2007 (19th April 2007 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

1. One Training Officer (Embroidery) under Woman's Vocational Training Programme, Directorate General of Employment & Training in Ministry of Labour & Employment. Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500, Qualification: (i) 12th pass under 10+2 system of a recognised board or equivalent (ii) National Trade Certificate awarded by NCVT in Embroidery Trade (iii) Regular Advanced Skill Certificate awarded by NCVT in Embroidery Trade (iv) National Craft Instructor Certificate awarded by NCVT Experience : Four year's relevant experience in Industry/ Training in the field after acquiring the certificate mentioned above. Age : 30 yrs.
2. One Assistant Director Grade-I (Economics) in the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Mumbai in Textile Ministry. Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500 Qualification: Master's degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce or Financial Management from a recognised University/ Instt. or equivalent. Age : 35 yrs, Experience : Three years' exp in supervisory capacity in the relevant field.
3. One Assistant Director (Law) in North Eastern Police Academy, Meghalaya in Doner Ministry. Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500 Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent. Experience : three year experience at the Bar or Three Years' experience in teaching in teaching law in Training Instt/ Recognised Law College., Age : 33 yrs
4. One Senior ENT Surgeon, Directorate of Medical & Health Services. The post is also suitable for persons with disability viz- Orthopaedically Handicapped of any Community in Daman & Diu Administration . Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200 + NPA Qualification: (i) a recognised Med. qualification (ii) Post Graduate Degree / Diploma qualification in the speciality concerned viz MS (Oto-Rhino-Laryngology / Speciality Board of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (USA) DIO / DORL or equivalent. Age : 40 yrs
