PNBIIT (Promoted by Punjab National Bank) is registered as an autonomous non-profit making society. The Institute is envisaged to be a premier Institute of IT having state-of-the- art infrastructure and excellent academic environment. The Institute is providing training to the bankers and corporates in IT and other IT related issues. The Institute has now decided to start educational programmes with a mission to establish itself as a Deemed University.

The Institute aims at creating intellectual capital for the above purpose and invites application for faculty/ Non-faculty positions from persons with excellent academic record and relevant experience. The selected candidates may be offered positions as Associate Professor / Asstt. Professor / Faculty Research Associates / Asstt. Manager (Accounts), depending upon qualification and experience.

• Associate Professor (IT) : Pay Scale : Rs.20480/- to Rs.24140/-, Qualification : Ph.D in relevant discipline with First Class Degree at Bachelor’s OR Master’s level in Computer Science / Information Technology , Experience : 8 years in Teaching / Research.
• Asstt. Professor (IT) : Pay Scale : Rs.18240/- to Rs.22280/-, Qualification : Ph.D / pursuing Ph.D with First class B.E / B.Tech in computer Science / Information Technology / M.Sc (Comp Science) / M.Sc (IT) / MCA with NET qualification., Experience : 3 years in teaching profession or 7 yrs for Candidates pursuing Ph.D, such candidates should complete their research within 5 yrs.
• Faculty Research Associates (IT) : Pay Scale : Rs.13820/- to Rs.19920/-, Qualification : First Class MCA/ M.Sc (Information Technology) / M.Sc (Computer Science). OR First Class B.E / B.Tech. in Information Technology / Computer Science with GATE qualification of minimum 80 percentile score, Experience : 2 years in Teaching / Research. Candidates pursuing Ph.D will be preferred.
• Associate Professor/ Asstt. Professor(Finance & Banking) : Pay Scale : Rs.18240/- to Rs.22280/-, Qualification : Ph.D / pursuing Ph.D. in the relevant discipline or MBA from reputed Institute with First Class or equivalent with specialization in Finance and strong academic & teaching back ground. OR First class MBA from reputed Institute with specialization in Banking/ Finance.
• Assistant Manager (Accounts) : Pay Scale : Rs.10000/- to Rs.18240/-, Qualification : CA / CA Intermediate /ICWA / M.Com with minimum 60% marks having knowledge of working in Tally package and /or equivalent package, Experience : 3 Years in handling accounts and audit in an autonomous institute
• Library Assistant (On contractual Basis) : Pay:Rs.8500/- consolidated, Qualification : Bachelor of Library information Science with high second class or equivalent with exposure to Library Management Software. , Experience : 2 Years relevant Experience.
• Computer Lab Demonstrator (On contractual Basis) : Pay:Rs.8500/- consolidated, Qualification : Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, DOEACC ‘A’ level or equivalent , Experience : 2 Years relevant Experience
