Recruitment of HEAD CONTABLE (CM) AND ASSTT. SUB-INSP (STENO)

Applications are invited for filling up the following Group ‘C’ posts in ITB Police from Indian citizens. Last date for receipt of applications is 14th May 2007 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 29th May 2007.

• Constable (Combatised Ministerial ) : 323 posts (UR+Ex.Servicemen - 166+19, SC + Ex-Servicemen - 52+6, ST + Ex-Servicemen - 25+3, OBC+Ex-Servicemen - 47+5), Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : Between 20 to 25 years (as on 15/04/07)., Qualification : (i) Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) from a recognized Board or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates possessing Higher educational qualifications. (ii) Typing Speed 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
• Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) : 51 posts (UR+Ex.Servicemen - 29+3, SC + Ex-Servicemen - 6+1, ST + Ex-Servicemen - 4+0, OBC+Ex-Servicemen - 7+1), Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-100-6000/- , Age : Between 20 to 25 years (as on 15/04/07)., Qualification : (i) Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) from a recognized Board or equivalent. (ii) Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typing. OR Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and 25 words per minute in Hindi typing.

Fee : Application Fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen. The candidates would attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Bank Draft drawn in the name of the authorities mentioned in the advertisement.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications complete in all respects in the prescribed Proforma along with application fee, attested copies of the testimonials to the authority mentioned above on or before the prescribed last date. Two self addressed envelopes 4”X9” size with Rs.5/- postage stamps affixed thereon should also be attached with the application form.
