ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) is one of the major research and development centres of Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) responsible for development of satellite technology. Over years, ISAC has planned and executed several satellite missions of ISRO. ISAC, ISRO invites applications for the following temporary posts which are likely to be continued indefinately:-

• Technical Assistant : 09 posts (SC-3, ST-1, OBC-5), Qualification: First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering from the recognised Board/ Institution , Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000/-
• Technical Assistant : 07 posts (SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4), Qualification: First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the recognised Board/ Institution , Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000/-
• Scientific Assistant : 01 post (UR), Qualification: First Class B.Sc. in Chemistry from the recognised University / Institution , Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000/-

Age Limit: 18-35 years as on 21/09/2007 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates) Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities(PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

Selection Process : after initial screen shortlisted candidates will ba called for personal interview.

Travelling Allowance : Outstantion candidates called for interview will be paid up to and fro Second Class Railway fare by the shortest route.

How to apply : Candidate may visit the website http://www.isac.gov.in/ to register their application online. Application will recieved online only. The candidate should register their applications on-line between Aug 27, 2007 and Sep 21, 2007. The online application will be followed up with a 'NOC' from current employer for those who are employed.
