Direct Recruitment for Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) competitive examination likely to be held in the month of Dec 2007/Jan 2008.

Bharat Sanchar Niagam Limited, Chennai SSA, Tamilnadu will recruit about 173 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) from the candidates belong to Chennai, Cenaglpet, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur Districts, details of which are in the detailed advertisement :

Qualification : A candidate must have possessed three years Engineering Diploma in Telecom Engg./ Electronics Engg./ Electrical Engg./ Radio Engg./ Computer Engg./ Instrument Technology/ M.Sc. (Electronics) from a recognized Institution/University on the date of application.

Age : 18 to 27 years as on 27/11/07. Relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.

Application Fee : Rs. 500/- in the form of Bank Draft drawn from a Nationalized Bank in favour of “Accounts Officer(C & A), HQ Zone, BSNL, Chennai Telephones” payable at Chennai in a single draft. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from examination fee provided they should have enclosed necessary community/Medical certificates .

How to Apply : Applications in A4 size (30cm x 20cm) completed in all respects in the prescribed proforma alongwith the attested copies of the certificates in respect of qualification, age, and community etc., should reach the Sub Divisional Engineer (Recruitment), O/o The Deputy General Manager(A), Chennai Telephones, No. 89, Millers Road, Chennai 600010 on or before 27th November, 2007. The envelope containing the application must be duly superscribed with “Application for the post of Telecom Technical Assistant” on top of the envelope. Two self addressed stamped envelopes of 27 x 12 cms and 2 passport size photos identical to the photo pasted in the application should be enclosed along with application
