Details of eligibility qualification, experience, specialization etc and application form can be obtained Assam University website or from the Section Officer ,Personnel Section, Assam University,Silchar-788011 during office hours on all working days in person /by post by sending a self addressed stamped (Rs 22/- for Registered post) envelope (28x12 cm). Cost of application form: Rs.50.00.

Application fee : Cost of application form and application fee has to be submitted in the shape of demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Assam University, Silchar payable at UCO bank Silchar branch (Code 0080) or State Bank of India, Silchar branch (Code 7061). Teaching positions Rs.200.00 including OBC and for Non Teaching Positions including OBC Rs 100 (SC/ST/PWD candidates shall not have to pay application fees, however Rs.100.00 for Teaching and Rs 50 for Non Teaching Positions from SC/ST/PWD will be charged as postal expenses only) Applicants downloading application form from website will have to pay Rs.250.00 for Teaching posts and Rs 150 for Non Teaching posts as application fee including OBC (Rs.100.00 and Rs 50 Teaching and Non Teaching post respectively for SC/ST/PWD will be charged as postal expenses only).
