 Applications are invited in the prescribed Application Forms (a set of twelve application forms) for the following Teaching Posts in the University Departments of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and Sub-Centre at Osmanabad.
  • Professor: 10 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-22400/-, Qualification: An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and/or experience in research at the University / National level institution, including experience of guiding research at the doctoral level. OR An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made a significant contribution to knowledge.
  • Reader: 36 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.12,000-18,300/-, Qualification: Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the university system shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level. Five years of experience in teaching and/or research.
  • Lecturer: 49 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.8000-13500/-, Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET/SET) for Lecturers, conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.

Application Form: Prescribed application forms (a set of twelve application forms) along with detailed information can be obtained from the Publication unit of the University on payment of Rs. 150 /- in the case of candidate belonging to the reserved category on the production of certified Xerox copy of caste certificate and Rs. 300/- for Open Category candidate, and by post on sending a demand draft towards the cost of the application form along with postal charges Rs. 50 /- separately. Or else candidates can download the application form from University Website.

How to Apply: The application form in a set of twelve forms duly typed and completed in all respects, along with necessary documents duly attested and attached to each application form of the set should be sent in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the post of ________” so as to reach the Registrar during office hours on or before 11 February 2008.
