Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 13th March 2008 (2oth March 2008 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

1. One joint Director in Directorate of Millets Development, Jaipur, Department of Agriculture & Co-operation, Agriculture Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-, Qualification: Post Graduate degree in any branch of Agriculture Sciences from a recognised University or equivalent., Experience : 5 years’ experience in the area of production and productivity and other related aspects in food/cash crops e.g. Oilseeds/ Jute/ Cotton/ Sugar Cane/ Pulses/ Wheat/ Millet/Rice., Age : 45 years
2. 13 Plant Protection Officers (Entomology) in Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation in Agriculture Ministry (SC-2,ST-1,OBC-3), Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Entomology or Nematology or M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture (specialisation in Entamology) or M.Sc. in Zoology (specialisation in Entamology) of a recognized University or equivalent., Experience : Two years’ experience in Plant Protection work., Age : 30 years
3. 3 Registrar of Companies/ Joint Directors (Inspection) / other posts included in Junior Administrative Grade (Accounts Branch) of Indian Company Law Service in Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-16500/-, Qualification: A qualification recognised for enrolment in the Register of Members of the ICAI or of the ICWA or Membership of the ICSI or equivalent and , Experience : 8 years experience as CA or as Cost and Works Accountant or as Company Secretary OR 10 years experience in a commecial or industrial organisation or in a Government department connected with administration of the Companies Act.
