Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 12th June 2008 (19th June, 2008 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

1. Junior Administrative Grade (Legal Branch) of Indian Company Law Service (ICLS) : 01 post in Corporate Affairs Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-16500/-, Age : 50 years, Qualification : Degree in Law, Experience : 10 years experience as a legal practitioner in.
2. Deputy Drugs Controller (India) : 03 posts (OBC-1) in Central Drugs Standardisation Control Organisation unde Directorate General of Health Services in Health & Family Welfare Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-16500/-, Age : 50 years, Qualification : Master's Degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Bio-chemistry/Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent. 12 years experience.
3. Assistant Professors (Paediatric Surgery), Specialist Grade-II of CHS in the Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre : 01 post (OBC),  at JIPMER Puducherry in Health & Family Welfare Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-+NPA, Age : 48 years, Qualification: A recognised medical qualification (ii) Post Graduate degree qualification in the concerned speciality i.e. M.Ch. (Paediatric Surgery)  and 3 years teaching experience.
4. Deputy Registrar General (Map) : 01 post  in  Office of Registrar General, India (ORG), Home Affairs Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 14300-18300/-, Age : 50 years, Qualification : Master's Degree in Geography or equivalent with 12 years experience.
5. Assistant Director (Chemistry) : 01 post in Central Forensic Science Laboratories in Directorate of Forensic Science in Home Affairs Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 1000-15200/-, Age : 40 years, Qualification : Masters Degree in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B.Sc. level. 7 years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the relevant field. 
6. Training Officers (Secretarial Practice) : 03 posts (ST-1) in DGET, Labour & Employment Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Diploma (3 years) in Secretarial Practice/ Stenography and Secretarial Practice or equivalent., Experience : 3 years relevant experience in Industry/Training in the field.
7. Training Officers (Hair and Skin Care) : 08 posts (OBC-5) in DGET, Labour & Employment Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Diploma (2 years) in Beauty Culture or equivalent., Experience : 2 years relevant experience in Industry/Training in the field.
8. Training Officers (Embroidery) : 01 post in DGET, Labour & Employment Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Age : 30 years, Qualification : 10+2 pass (ii) NTC in Embroidery  Trade (iii) Regular Advanced skill certificate awarded by NCVT in Embroidery Trade. (iv) National Craft Instructor Certificate by NCVT, Experience : 4 years relevant experience in Industry/Training in the field.
9. Training Officers (Dress Making) : 02 posts (OBC-1) in DGET, Labour & Employment Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Diploma (3 years) in Dress Making and Designing/Garment Fabrication Technology/ Dress Making and Garment Manufacturing/Costume Design and Dress Making or equivalent, Experience : 3 years relevant experience in Industry/Training in the field.
10. Assistant  Directors (Safety) : 02 posts (OBC-2) in DGFSLI, Labour & Employment Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Age : 38 years, Qualification : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent., Experience : 2 years practical experience.
11. Assistant Professor (Electrical Engineering) (Technical)  : 02 posts (SC-2) in Delhi College of Engineering, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-18300/-, Age : 55 years.
12. Assistant Directors (Planning/ Statistics) : 03 posts  in Planning Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Age : 35 years, Qualification : Master Degree in Statistics/ OR or Mathematics/ Economics/ Commerce with Statistics or equivalent. 3 years experience.
