West Bengal Judicial Service Examination,2008

• Judical Service : 56 psots (UR-38,SC-5,ST-9,BC-3,PH-1) , Pay Scale : Rs.9000-14550/-, Age : 23-35 years as on 03/05/2008, Qualification : A degree in Law from any University or any Institution affiliated to a University recognized by the State Government or the Central Government. (ii) Must be enrolled as an advocate in the roll of Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India on the date of advertisement for the Examination. (iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali ( not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling ). ).

Application Fee : Rs.200/- only in the form of Indian Postal Order endorsed to THE SECRETARY, PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL, or in the form of a receipted challan from a Government Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head "0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees". No fee from SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply : Applications in the prescribed proforma by Registered posts should be sent to the to the Deputy Secretary (Examination), Public Service Commission, West Bengal, at the above address superscribing on the envelope (i) name of the examination, (ii) category (Genl/SC/ST/BC). Application must reach the office of the Commission within the closing date i.e. the 03/06/2008.
