The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune has been set up by the Government of India on par with the IITs and IISc Bangalore. IISER Pune invites applications from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic record and experience for the following positions :

1. Scientific Officer (System Administrator) : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500, Qualification : First class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Electronics with minimum 2 years experience in the relevant field OR First Class M.Tech./ MCA or equivalent Postgraduate degree, Age : 30 years
2. Private Secretary : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500, Qualification : Bachelor’s degree of recognized University with minimum second class and Postgraduate Diploma / Diploma in Computer Applications / Office Management. Knowledge of English Shorthand and Typing at a speed of 120 and 50 w.p.m. respectively. Knowledge of Hindi typing is
   desirable, Age : 35 years.
3. Personal Assistant : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5000 – 8000, Qualification : Bachelor’s degree of recognized University with minimum second class and Diploma in Computer Applications / Office Management. Knowledge of English Shorthand and Typing at a speed of 100 and 40 w.p.m. respectively. Knowledge of Hindi typing and local language is desirable, Age : 30 years
4. Lab Technician : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 4500 – 7000, Qualification : Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation, Age : 28 years
5. Lab Assistant : 01 Post, , Pay Scale : Rs. 3200 – 4900, Qualification : H.S.C. (10 + 2) Second Class with Physics / Chemistry / Biology as subjects. , Age : 25 years
6. Attendant : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 2550 – 3200, Qualification : S.S.C. with 50% marks. Familiarity with computers, record management and general correspondence, Age : 23 years
