Recruitment of Constables Telecommunication/ Transport
Applications are invited from male Indian citizens resident of the following posts for filling up of vacancies. The last date of receipt of application is 16th October 2008 (23 October for Far-flung areas)
- Constable (Radio Operator) : 390 posts, Age : 18-23 years
- Constable (Radio Technician) : 57 posts, Age : 18-25 years
- Constable (Line Man) : 36 posts, Age : 18-23 years
- Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 56 posts, Age : 19-25 years
- Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 60 posts, Age : 18-25 years
- Constable (Driver) : 557 posts, Age : 20-25 years
Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/- Constable and Rs.3200-4900 Head Constable.
Place of Posting : Any where within and outside the Territory of India.
Elegibility : Physical : Height - 170 cms (165 cms for persons from special zones, 162.5 cms for ST) , Chest : 80 cms (78 cms for persons from special zones, 76 cms for ST), Expanded Chest - 85 cms (83 cms for persons from special zones, 81 cms for ST)
Fee : Application Fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen. The candidates would attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Bank Draft drawn in the name of authorities mentioned above i.e. to whom the application is submitted.
Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications complete in all respects in the prescribed Proforma along with application fee, attested copies of the testimonials to the authority mentioned above on or before the prescribed last date. Two self addressed envelopes 4”X9” size with Rs.5/- postage stamps affixed thereon should also be attached with the application form.
