Walk-In-Interview

The National Gallery of Modem Art, Jaipur House, New Delhi, a subordinate office under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India needs the services of the following professionals on contractual basis initially for a period of six months :­

1. Curator : MA in Fine Arts/Art History from a recognized university with two years experience on important curatorial projects are eligible. Research/Published work will be considered as added qualifications
2. Assistant Curator :  MA in Fine Arts/ Art History from a recognized university with at least one year experience in curatorial practices or experience in writing scholarly papers
3. Programme & Exhibition Officer : MA in Fine Arts/ Arts History/ Museology from a recognized university with two years experience in organizing events in the field of visual, plastic arts or interdisciplinary art practices
4. Publication Officer :  Bachelor in Fine Arts/ Applied Arts from a recognized institution and at least one year experience in Publishing industry I handling professional quality publications
5. Senior Technical Assistant (Restoration) : Bachelor in Fine Arts and Degree I Diploma in conservation and restoration of works of arts along with professional experience in the field
6. Technical Assistant (Restoration) : Diploma in Fine Arts with at least one year experience in restoration work in a reputed institution.

Interested candidates possessing minimum expected qualifications and experience as above may appear for a walk-in-interview in the office of Director, National Gallery of Modern Art, Jaipur House, New Delhi at 10 a.m. on 16/09/2008 with 5 sets of their (i) bio-data (ii) testimonials/ certificates as proof of their qualifications/experience and (iii) samples of some of their works. Remuneration will commensurate with qualification / experience.
