Closing date for receipt of application for the post of Management Trainees has been extended till 23/10/2009Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) will recruit about 300 Management Trainee (MT) through competitive examinations to be held on All India basis, on different dates :
- Management Trainee (MT) : 300 posts (UR-153, OBC-81, SC-38, ST-18) (PH-9) (Telecom Operation-250, Telecom Finance-50) , Pay Scale : Rs. 24900-50500 (IDA), Age : 30 years. Relaxation in age as per rules, Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology degree or equivalent Engineering Degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in any of the following disciplines - (i) Telecommunications (ii) Electronics (iii) Computer/IT (iv) Electrical plus to years regular full-time MBA for Telecom Operations and CA/ICWa/CS for Telecom Finance. On successful completion of Probation-cum-training, the officer shall be appointed as Manager (MT)
Selection Process: The mode of selection is through open Competitive Examination. All the candidates shall have to undergo the similar recruitment process i.e. the Written Examination+Group Discussion+Structured Interview.
Application Fee : Rs 1500/- in the form of demand draft/ pay order drawn in favour of Senior Accounts Officer/Accounts Officer payable at the respective stations of the telecom circle. No Fee payable by SC/ST/PH.
How to Apply: Application in the prescribed format in an envelope be marked “Application for the post of MTs (External Candidate) in BSBL” in bold letters on top of it and should be sent to the respective DGM in the respective CGM of the Circle concern where a candidate wants to apply. the word is abeyance it means :
(from the Old French abeance meaning "gaping"), a state of expectancy in respect of property, titles or office, when the right to them is not vested in any one person, but awaits the appearance or determination of the true owner. In law, the term abeyance can only be applied to such future estates as have not yet vested or possibly may not vest.
So in our cases we are to await, till further info from the department, the union people have protested in our entry into the managment cadare, they do not realize that to reach to this level we have to both sweat and have merit, passing two of the most competitive exams in india an engineering entrance exam and a MBA entrance exam , have spent 6 years and cleared more than a hundred papers. to reach this stage, we have to keep in mind the age factor if we cross 30 , we become like spent fule , good for nothing, if we get thru this stage we can rise to the level where we deserve by merit and not by hartals dharnas and bulling tactics, if these people want the position they should compete and take risk like us , if we wanted we could have had joined bsnl longtime back with just normal degree and raised slogans and demonstrations now to reach higher posts.
It should be merit not goondaism to reach top posts else we will have chaeos everywhere, guys why dont u people jointly write to the telecom minister, i guess he is a public servant to address such greviances.
This development in BSNL is a clear violation of equal oppertunities right, garaunteed by the constitution of our country.

@all: the post is for engineers and not for only MBA's. but the engineer MUST have DONE MBA in the said specialisation. it is not a general job like bank po . it is a highly specialised job as one can see that salary offered is quite high as compared to banking or other management trainee programmes.

the union are doing right by protesting against this recruitment. in public sector promotions are by seniority and not by qualification. as said even if you spend 6 year and have hundred of papers to get ur degree the posts must be filled by seniors otherwise it is injustice to their commitment. this you will realise when u join and after your 30 years of service your company decides to bring freshers as ur boss.

hey guys, what the question u r putting up? its already mention that both engineering (b.tech. or b.e.) and Mba is compulsory them why r u people asking the same question. BOTH THE DEGREE IS COMPULSORY AND NOT MANDATORY. it is not a bank po exams. its salary is nearly 4 four times than that of bank po.
