  5. @Shitanshu :- The minimum marks are 65 %..so i am afraid u will not ne selected..and even i think tht the online application will not be accepted..and even having 65 % doesnt get the call for written test.as most of them are screened out.

@Darsahn.. The exam would be mosly online at the given centers..the syallabus u can follows the syalabus mentioned for DRDO..the question will be objective ( cant remeber exaxt umber of question) but usually would cover almost all the topics ( especially controls and comm..for electronics students..)..

  10. 65% maks is the minimum criteria required to be eligible for the post. However even the ISRO have metioned in the Notice that "possesing 65% doesnt qualify the candidate for Written test " "Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test"..i have 68% and applied for the post last year..but wasnt called up for the written test..not sure of exact reason though for the rejection ..but couldnt clarify with ISRO as they had thier "riders" attached..so best thing would be to fill up the form..i am filling up the form again this time..and let ISRO decide the criteria based on the applications received..hope this clarifys all the queries..

  23. Hi everybody..
Only the people of concerned department can apply, so no cross departmental applications, but you can check in case they allow some departments.

The ISRO has limited seats and testing so many people is difficult. So, they allow only topppers for their testing. 2yrs ago I got eligible for the exam, although I didn't prepare, thought I will do after hard preparation,. Last year I prepared really hard to get into ISRO but my application was rejected coz i got only 68% in BTech. Every year they use to increase the Cutoff percantage depending upon the number of applications. So, beware and be sure before filling the application. Also, it is not unwise to try.

Dammn they haven't got any vacancy for CSE department. I think the Great Reccession has affected the ISOR too.

    Best of Luck.....
