Advertisement for recruitment of Constable (General Duty - GD) in ITBP

Applications are invited for filling up the 850 posts of Constables  in ITB Police from Indian citizens. Last date for receipt of applications is 22/09/2010. Last date is 29/09/2010 for the candiates from far-flung areas.

  • Constable (General Duty - GD) : 850 posts in various states of India, Age : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01/08/2010, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000/-, Qualification : Matriculation or 10th class pass.
Application Form : OMR application will be used for this recruitment which will be available in the Head Post Offices of district in the all states for which this recruitment is being done. This OMR form will be available from 23/08/2010 onwards on payment of Rs.40/-
Fee : All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of the "Account Officer, Directorate General, ITB Police Force alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee .

How to Apply : OMR Application Form should be sent to reach the DIG (Pers-2 & Rectt.), Director General, Indo Tibet Border Police Force, Block No. II, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before the last date 22/09/2010.

  1. First time ever in any central Para military force OMR application form is being used for recruitment of Constable General Duty.

  2. The use of OMR Application Form may be a part of planning to restrict recruitment or opportunity of an intelligent & deserving candidate from Rural & Remote areas. Due to unavialability of application form in Rural area they cant apply.
