Annual Recruitment of Scientists/Engineers 'SC' with BE/B.Tech. OR Equivalent Degree in Electronics & Mechanical
ISRO offers the position of Scientist/Engineer `SC' in the pay band of Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs.5400 to the to young engineering graduates in the following specialized fields :-
- Scientist/Engineer SC - Electronics (Code : BE001)
- Scientist/Engineer SC - Mechanical (Code : BE002)
Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in First Class or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters for which results are available). Candidates who are slated to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2011-12 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by 31/8/2012.
Age Limit: 35 years as on 28/02/2012 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities[PWD] are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders).
Application Fee : 100/- for each application in the form to be pais in any branch of SBI through a payment challan voucher. No fee from SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from the fee.
How to apply : The application for on-line registration is hosted in the ISRO web-site between 08/02/2012 and 28/02/2012.

please don't apply unless you have more than 70% because they later increase % criteria and i was the victim of that last year

Cutoff for written test will be higher than 70%
Challan form ( ISRO copy ) only have to send to the address mentioned in advertisement for General & BC candidates who have to pay the fees
Registration form will be available for who got fees exemption ( i.e, women,PH,SC,ST )

Yes ... Candidates having more than 70 % only need to apply.

ReplyDeleteI applied for this twice ..last 2 yrs seeing that the eligibility criteria is 65% and my aggr is 66%. Last 2 times I didnt get the admit card. It was only send to ppl who have 70 and above. If they only want candidates above 70 why dont they mention it in the adv? Think about students who have worked hard for 2 months and later knowing they wont be able to write the test.
