IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorised and has received mandates to conduct Common Written Examination (CWE) for the posts of Officers and Office Assistant  (Multipurpose) for 62 Regional Rural Banks (Gramin Banks). 
Applications are invited for the first CWE for Rural Banks Officer posts (Scale-I, II and III) and Office-Assistants, for which CWE will be conducted.

Those will be successful in the Common Written Exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (Like CAT exam of IIM) and may apply to any of the participating rural bank when they come up with their job vacancy and then these successful candidates have quote their personal details and their CWE scores. This score card will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

 Each of the bank will issue individual recruitment notifications, details of  vacancies, eligibility criteria etc. separately.

Application Fee : Rs.600/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) to be deposited Online or Offline.  

How to Apply for CWE :  Candidates need to apply Online at IBS website from 04/07/2013 to 25/07/2013 only.

  1. Payment of Online Application Fees : 04/07/2013 to 25/07/2013
  2. Payment of Offline Application Fees : 06/07/2013 to 30/07/2013 
  3. Start date of Online submission of Application : 04/07/2013
  4. Last date for online submission of Application :  25/07/2013
  5. Date of CWE Exam : 21/09/2013 and 22/09/2013 for Officers posts  and 28/09/2013, 29/09/2013 and 05/10/2013 and 06/10/2013 for the posts of Office-Assistant (Multipurpose)

    Friends dont waste ur money nd time . Just wait ibps clerk vacancy. Last year l passed both of test after that our punjab gramin bank decleared only 50 post in punjab .

    yar i am working hard and qualify in all the ibps but finaly couldnt get selected . even those who have less number than me qualified .
    i dont know whom to blame it was my last chance from general category . i dont have even farming land to do farming . as for my economic condition is concerned gov should take care of me also what if i belong to general i didnt have money on tree .

    its not 51% reserv for gen its an open category where everyone can come esp. sc/st who only have NOT to use their certi.and secondly 600 Vs 100 its too bad discrimination. Being a gen it does not mean u r millionare and all sc/st r bpl. Gvt is banking on ur community and ultimately making fool of everyone. worst awaits in this wake of individual benefits.

    Cadidates apply for any competin..most of them is general...for example..if 6lakh condidates appear thn 5lakh85thousnd to gneral condidates hote h..rest of them are sc/st,obc...
    From the calculatin,the ratio of reservatin of sc,st,obc...is mch mch mch more than general....aap 51% generl ke reservtin pe mt jao,,appearing cndidate mostly gneral wale hote h or thats y competin z tuff 4 gnrl n vry easy 4 sc,st and obc...

    agar SC/ST padh liye hote to reservation ki zarurat hi nai padti.jab itna confidence hai apni padhai pe to category me form kyu dalte ho??
