- Inspector (Group-B) : 461 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 10300 - 34800 Grade pay of Rs. 4200, Age : 18 to 38 years as on 30/09/2013. Relaxation in age as per Punjab govt. rules., Qualification : Graduation and Punjabi language upto Matric (10th) level.
Application Fee : Rs.800/- (Rs.200/- for SC) to be paid through a payment Challan in State Bank of Patiala.

ReplyDeletepunjab government ko punjabi compulsary chahiye to baki states ko bhi apni local language compulsary karni chahiye.waha to sab apply kar sakte hai ab kya south wale 10th main pb sekhenge .Sedha likhna chahiye ki punjab state k hi appy ker sakte hai

DeleteEvery state has its official language... like in haryana or himachal they ask for hindi... here u are nt asked to be citizen of punjab ... If u go thru advt. Of j&k they ask for the resident of j&k ...then toh aap kuch aur hi kehne lag jaoge... so u can't change the system until u are in the system...
its compulsory.... so its basically for punjab residents..

@person who asked for salary and growth
Initial salary is around 16-17k and there is good growth. My friend is working in same dept and after 4 years of job he is going to get raise to 45k per month.

ReplyDeleteno dear, these posts are not for Punjab residents only; any Indian national can apply; provided she has Punjabi as a subject in Matric; she may be from Imphal, Vizag or Jodhpur.

ReplyDeletePeople Outside Punjab need not apply , please. U shud focus on your states exams and centre. Punjabi's ke liye sirf yahi jobs reh jati hain.. so all NRP(Non-Resident Punjabis) stay away.

ReplyDeletePunjabi is the compulsory subject in punab. Because here all the old people understand Punjabi.. These posts are also for the other states candidates. Please pass Punjabi subject if you want to fill these vacancies. So, if you don't understand Punjabi then how can you work for the people in Punjab.

ReplyDeleteSecondly about the pay it will be 28 k in starting .
There will be 4-5 question of punjabi in paper so much fluency is not required .
regading the job profile It is not a white coller job to warn you and you have to work hard in here but if you are willing to work it is good.Rest you can ask your senior of 2010 batch there is a facebook page there too

ReplyDeletePunjab Govt have made it necessary that all official works are to be done in punjabi language. So its mandatory to clear punjabi in 10th.
