Aadhaar mandatory for  Railway Recruitment

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have decided that in all future railway recruitment, the applicant shall be required to furnish his/her 12 digit Aadhaar number at the time of filling up the application.


All the prospective candidates who wish to apply for future Railway Recruitment Board examination and do not have Aadhaar cards are advised to get themselves enrolled with UIDAI and get Aadhar Cards.

Earlier, Aadhar was made mandatory for JEE examination conducted for admission for graduate courses in IITs and other engineering colleges across India. 

It seems that the government will soon make it mandatory to any recruitment for Government Jobs. Therefore, all the prospective candidates are advised to get Aadhaar Cards and mention the Aadhaar number where ever required.
