About CRIS
The Ministry of Railways set up the Centre For Railway Information Systems (CRIS) as a Society in July 1986. CRIS is headquartered in New Delhi, with regional offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Secunderabad.
CRIS is currently developing IT application systems to cover the emerging needs of the Railways including the protection of Railway assets, energy management, management of the overhead electrification system, parcel management, employees’ health management, and a comprehensive financial management system.

- Assistant Software Engineer (ASE): 50 posts (UR-19, EWS-5, OBC-14, SC-8, ST-4), Age: 22-27 years as of 07/08/2019, Pay Scale: Level-7 of 7th Pay Commission Pay Index (earlier - ₹9300-34800 grade pay ₹4200/-,
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) + GST (18%) + Bank charges (as applicable) for General/ OBC-NCL candidates. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD and women candidates.
