About SERC Chennai

CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai is a premier National Laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The thrust is of R&D of the Centre are Structural health monitoring and Life extension, Disaster mitigation, Sustainable materials and structures and Special and Multi-functional Structures. SERC has built up excellent facilities for testing of structures and structural models, and also for mathematical modelling and simulation.
