Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the largest commercial undertaking in India and a Fortune “ Global 500” company is looking for energetic and dedicated Graduate Engineers with a bright academic record to join IOCL as Engineers/Officer and as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) through GATE-22. Online Applications in the prescribed recruitment form are invited from bright, young and energetic Engineers of Indian Nationality for the recruitment of Government Jobs vacancy posts of Engineers/Officers and Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) in the disciplines of Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – 2022).

IOCL Engineers/Officers, Apprentice Engineers Recruitment 2022

• Engineers/Officers and Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs): Recruitment to these positions will be through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – 2022), Age: 26 years as on 30/06/2022, Pay Scale: Officer/Engineer will be posted in the Pay Scale of E2 Level with a starting basic pay of ₹50000/-per month and shall be placed in the pay scale of ₹50000-160000 
• Qualification:  The candidate should have completed Full-time Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.Tech. /BE. /Equivalent) in relevant engineering branch from Institutions/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC with a minimum of 65% marks. (55% for SC/ST candidates) b) Candidates currently in the final year of their engineering studies may also apply 
• Candidates who have completed/are pursuing M.Tech. in any disciplines are also eligible to apply provided they have appeared in GATE 2022 examination in the eligible discipline and completed B.Tech./BE in one of the mentioned engineering disciplines.

Selection by GATE-2022 score

Candidates must have qualified in the GATE 2022 examination from one of the following disciplines in order to be eligible to apply for the advertised posts:

1. Chemical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CH)
2. Civil Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CE)
3. Computer Sc & Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CS)
4. Electrical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: EE)
5. Instrumentation Engineering (GATE 2022 code: IN)
6. Mechanical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: ME)
7. Metallurgical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: MT)

GATE marks of previous years (2021 or before) shall not be accepted. 

Selection process shall consist of Group Discussion(GD), Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI).
