National Informatics Centre (NIC), a premier Government of India Information Technology (IT) organisation requires Engineers for its various requirements at various levels as Scientist, Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB and Scientific Assistant-A for the year 2023 through the recruitment process managed by NIELIT.

NIC Scientific Recruitment 2023 vacancies

• Scientist - B: 71 vacancies (UR-30, EWS-07, OBC-19, SC-10, ST-05) (PWD-03), Pay Scale: Pay Level-10 ₹56100-177500, Experience: 08 years, Age limit: 30 years
• Scientific Officer/Engineer - SB: 196 vacancies (UR-81, EWS-20, OBC-52, SC-29, ST-14) (PWD-08), Pay Scale: Pay Level-7 ₹44900-142400, Age limit: 30 years
• Scientific/Technical Assistant - A: 331 vacancies (UR-134, EWS-32, OBC-91, SC-50, ST-24), Pay Scale: Pay Level-6 ₹35400-112400, Age limit: 30 years

Educational Qualification

• For Scientist-B posts : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in Technology (Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology) OR Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Course B-Level OR an Associate member of Institute of Engineers OR Graduate Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers OR Master’s Degree in Science (MSc) OR Master Degree in Computer Application OR Master’s Degree in Engineering OR Technology (ME or M-Tech) OR Master’s Degree in Philosophy (MPhil) in the disciplines of Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Sciences, Communication, Computer and Networking Security, Computer Application, Software System, Information Technology, Information Technology Management,  Informatics, Computer Management, Cyber Law, Electronics and Instrumentation
• For Scientific Officer/Engineer - SB and Scientific/Technical Assistant - A posts:  A pass in in M.Sc./MS/MCA/BE/B.Tech. in any or combination of the disciplines of Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Sciences, Computer and Networking Security, Software System, Information Technology, Informatics
