The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL), a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, invites online applications in the prescribed format for the recruitment of 550 Administrative Officers (Generalists and Specialists - Accounts) in Scale-I cadre from the open market for the year 2025. The recruitment of Administrative Officer Scale-I (Generalists and Specialists) 2025 is being conducted after one year in New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL). This is a good chance to Job seekers to become an officer in a prestigious PSU like NIACL.

• Administrative Officer (AO): 550 vacancies (Specialist - 357, Generalist-193) (UR-222, EWS-55, OBC-148, SC-83, ST-42) (PWD-23), Pay Scale: Scale-I ₹50925-96765, Age: 21-30 years as of 01/08/2025, relaxation as per Govt. rules.
1. Generalists: 193 vacancies
2. Risk Engineers: 50 vacancies
3. Automobile Engineers: 75 vacancies
4. Legal: 50 vacancies
5. Accounts: 25 vacancies
6. Health: 50 vacancies
7. Information Technology (IT): 25 vacancies
8. Business Analysts: 75 vacancies
9. Company Secretary: 02 vacancies
10. Actuarial Specialists: 05 vacancies

Selection Procedure

Online (Prelim): Phase-I Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online on 14th September 2025 (tentative). This would consist of 3 sections.

1. English Language - 30 marks, 20 minutes duration in the English language
2. Reasoning Ability - 35 marks, 20 minutes duration in the English/Hindi languages
3. Quantitative Aptitude - 35 marks, 20 minutes duration in the English/Hindi languages

Online Main (Final) examination  - Main Examination of 2.5 hours will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 30 marks will be held on 29th November 2025 (tentative). Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online.

1. Test of Reasoning - 50 marks in Eng./ Hindi languages of 40 minutes duration
2. Test of English Language - 50 marks in Eng. language of  40 minutes duration
3. Test of General Awareness - 50 marks in Eng./Hindi languages of 30 minutes duration
4. Test of Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks in Eng./Hindi languages of 40 minutes duration

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing -10 marks & Essay - 20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on-line mode.

Interview: Interview Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of the online Examination and the interview will be 75:25, respectively.
