National Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi NIT invites online applications in the prescribed format through Samarth Portal from Indian Nationals for the recruitment of Faculty Government Jobs at the level of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Grade-I on a direct recruitment basis in various departments of NIT Delhi for the year 2025. (Advertisement No. 14/2025)

NIT Delhi Faculty Recruitment 2025 Vacancies

1. Associate Professor: 06 vacancies (UR-3, EWS-1, OBC-1, SC-1), Pay Scale: Pay level-13A2 as per 7th CPC ₹139600-211300/-
2. Assistant Professor Grade-I: 07 vacancies (UR-1, EWS-1, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1), Pay Scale:  Pay level-12 as per 7th CPC ₹101500-167400/-

Application Fee

Non-refundable Processing Fee of ₹2000/- for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and ₹1000/- for the SC/ST should be paid online through the application portal by Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card along with the application form submission. No Fees shall be paid by the Women candidates and PWD candidates.

The candidates, other than the Women candidates and PwBD candidates, applying from abroad should pay the fee of ₹5000/- for General, OBC and EWS category candidates, and ₹2500/- for the SC/ST category candidates.

Interested persons may apply online in the prescribed format at the NIT Delhi website from 18/09/2025 to 17/10/2025 only for Faculty Vacancy Recruitment in NIT Delhi 2025.

The printout (hard copy) of the online application, along with all requisite documents and annexure(s) must reach the office of the Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Delhi, Plot No. FA7, Zone P1, GT Karnal Road, Delhi-110036 on or before 30/10/2025. The envelope containing the application be superscribed as “Application for the post of _____________________ under the ____________ category in the Discipline of _____________________ vide the Advt. No.: 14/2025.” .
