Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, invites online applications for recruitment and filling up the following 1543 Government Job vacancy positions on a contract basis for a period of 24 months initially or till completion of projects, whichever is earlier from bright, committed & energetic candidates professional personnel with experience in Transmission / Telecommunication Systems for its ongoing as well as anticipated projects across different regions of Powergrid as well as in its subsidiaries through Powergrid Common FTE Written Test- 2025. 1. Field Engineer (Electrical): 532 vacancies for various Regions/Projects, Pay: in the pay band of ₹30000-120000/- with initial basic pay of ₹30000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay
2. Field Engineer (Civil): 198 vacancies for various Regions/Projects, Pay: in the pay band of ₹30000-120000/- with initial basic pay of ₹30000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay
3. Field Supervisor (Electrical): 535 vacancies for various Regions/Projects, Pay: in the pay band of ₹23000-105000/- with initial basic pay of ₹23000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay  
4. Field Supervisor (Civil): 193 vacancies for various Regions/Projects, Pay: in the pay band of ₹23000-105000/- with initial basic pay of ₹23000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay
5. Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): 85 vacancies for various Regions/Projects, Pay: in the pay band of ₹23000-105000/- with initial basic pay of ₹23000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay

Age: 29 years for all vacancies as of 17/09/2025

Experience: One year post-qualification experience for all vacancies in the relevant field

Application Fee

An application fee of ₹400/- for Field Engineer and ₹300/- for Field Supervisor to be paid online. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
