Power Grid Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2025 Vacancies

1. Engineer Trainee (Electrical): 180 vacancies (Power Grid-149, CTUIL-31)
2. Engineer Trainee (Civil): 33 vacancies (Power Grid-33)
3. Engineer Trainee (Computer Science): 02 vacancies (CTUIL-2)
4. Engineer Trainee (Electronics): 06 vacancies (CTUIL-6)

Age: 28 years as on 31/12/2024

Pay Scale: The Stipend during the training period will be ₹40000 Monthly, along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during the training period of the basic pay of the pay scale ₹40000-3%-140000/- (IDA). The candidates, after successful completion of the training, will be placed as Assistant Engineer in the pay scale E-2 ₹50000-3%-160000/- (IDA).


Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech./ B.Sc.(Engg.) from recognised University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, AND a Valid Score in the GATE 2025 only. The candidate should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2025. GATE score of 2024 or prior is not valid.

An application fee of ₹500/- to be paid online. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
