IIIT Bhubaneswar is established as a result of the desire of the Government of Orissa to create a world class Institute of higher learning in Information Technology. The Institute intends to provide best in the class education, research and consulting services.
The institute offers following positions :
- Professors, Pay Scale : Rs.18400-22400/-
- Associate Professor, Pay Scale : Rs.16400-20000/-
- Assistant Professor, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300/-
Qualification for all faculty positions : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout.
- Professors : 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.
- Associate Professor : 8 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
- Assistant Professor : 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience.
- Fresh Ph.D’s in concerned subject without teaching experience and Deserving candidate pursuing Ph.D. and having outstanding academic records from reputed Institute, may also be considered. Such candidates being selected will get an opportunity to complete their Ph.D. within 3 years from the date of appointment.
