TTA Recruitment in BSNL Assam

Applications are invited for the 202 posts of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) in various SSAs of the Assam BSNL in the pay scale of Rs. 7100–200–10100/- plus usual allowances as per Rule..
Qualification : A candidate must have obtained Three Year Diploma in Engineering in any of the following disciplines : Telecommunications Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Radio Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ M.Sc (electronics)/ Instrumentation Technology with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Institution/University.
Age : 18 to 27 years as on 30/09/2007. Relaxation as per rules.

Application Fee : Rs.500/- in the form of DD only favouring Accounts Officer (Cash) of the concerned SSA. No fee for SC/ST/PH candidates.

How to Apply : A candidate can apply for vacancies of any one SSA only and submit application in the precsribed format only. The application complete in all respect along with the examination fee should be sent by Registered post/ Speed Post/ by hand to the SSA concerned on or before 30/09/2007. A list of SSA with the address to whom the applicants should send their application is given in detailed advertisement. The envelop containing the application must be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF TELECOM. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – 2007 ” on top of the envelope. Two self addressed unstamped envelopes of 27 x 12 cms should be enclosed along with the application.
