IIST invites applications for the following regular faculty positions for professionals who are willing to take up the challanges of academia and high technology research. The faculty has the unique opportunity of associating themselves in high technology R&D activities fo the organisation :

• Reader (Rs.10000-15200) : Ph.D. in Engineering or PG Degree in Engineering with 4 year academic/ research experience
• Assistant Professor (Rs.12000-16500) : Ph.D. in Engineering with a minimum of 4 years academic/ research experience.
• Professor (Rs.16400-20000) : Ph.D. in Engineering with a minimum of 13 years academic/ research experience .

Areas :

• Electronics Engineering with specialisation in RF/ Microwave/ Antenna, Digital
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Science
• Mechanical Engineering
• Thermal Engineering
• Control Engineering

Age : 35 years for Readers, 40 years for Assistant Professor and 45 years for Professor position.
