The BSPHC is an ISO certificed undertaking of the Government of Bihar. The company is contemplating to invite applications in prescribed format from eligible candidates for engagement on contrct basis on the following posts:

• Assistant Engineer (Elect/Mech) : 11 posts (UR-6, SC/ST-2, BC-1,EBC-2), Qualification : BE (Mech./Elect./ Electronics), Pay : Rs.17000/- (consolidated)
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 06 posts (UR-3, SC/ST-1, BC-1,EBC-1), Qualification : BE (Civil) or equivalent, Pay : Rs.17000/- (consolidated)
• Junior Engineer (Elect/Mech) : 20 posts (UR-10, SC/ST-2, BC-2,EBC-4, BC(F)-1), Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering, Pay : Rs.13000/- (consolidated)
• Junior Engineer (Civil) : 12 posts (UR-6, SC/ST-2, BC-2,EBC-2), Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering, Pay : Rs.13000/- (consolidated)

Age : 21-37 years as on 01/01/08. Relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST, 2 year to BC&EBC and 3 years to Female candidates in any category candidates.

Application Fee : A/c payee DD of Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- for SC/ST) in favour of "Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited" payable at Patna.
