Sarkari Naukri Vacancy Job Recruitment in India from Central/State Governments, PSU, Courts, Universities, Banks, Armed Forces, Institutes

Government Job Recruitment Application Fee has increased many times

Recruitment Fee for Government Job has increased

Those who are candidates for Latest  Government Jobs (Sarkari Naukri) and applying for various Government job vacancy notifications, know that an application fee is generally asked with most of the vacancy notifications. If the application is offline, then candidates have to submit applications mostly by Bank DD / Indian Postal Order and send it with applications itself and in the case of online submission of application, fee is submitted online by online means or by payment challan in a bank.

Now, it is being observed that this application fee is now increased many times.

In one case of some advertisement by MP Government, a whopping application fee of Rs.5000/- was asked where is in some cases of Rajasthan Government and Central PSU companies, the application fee was asked Rs. 3000/-. Generally, nowadays fee of Rs. 1000/- and Rs.1500/- has become the norm. Only Public Service Commissions (PSC) are charging Rs. 100-300 per application.  Published at https://www.SarkariNaukriBlog.com

The application fee is generally asked for General and OBC category male candidates only. SC, ST, PwD candidates are either asked for 50% of the fee or exempted from payment of the fee. Women (female) candidates are now exempted from payment of application fees.  Minorities are exempted from the application fee in some states and in Indian Railways only.

Government Job Recruitment Application Fee increased

Generally, those who are applying to the Government vacancies are from the middle class or from the economically weaker section of the society. Therefore increase in the application fee is pinching the parents of the candidates as it is the parent of the candidates who is paying this fee.

Either this application fee increase should be reduced or it should be abolished for all candidates as most of the candidates are not from economically well-to-do families.

  2. It's true, examination fee should be nominal that all sections of society can be benefitted...If UPSC can conduct a pan India exam in 100 rupees fee why state services commission needs 3000 rs to conduct it within the state.....

  3. Yes I agree that there is unreasonably high fee is charged for applications for Govt Jobs. I believe now these institutions see it as a easy way to make money. Currently most of the places use online application and even every step is automated and no human labor involved in sorting or indexing applications. Even then they charge high fees.
The best way is to combine the entrance exams of all the related jobs, to reduce burden on institutions and candidates.

    1. First of all fee should be same for all categories so that it will be treated every one equally, then fee should be decreased to reasonable fare amount. This helps all candidate very much.

  17. I'm stunned to see the replies and what not these days. Anyways I'll post this from point of view from some Non-Indian. Many replies talk about equality these days, that is, fee should be equal for each cast, for jobs there should be no reservation system etc.

What I don't get is that when lower cast peoples were being deprived from their basic rights (to study etc), were being treated like shit, there was no general category people fighting against it. Read a little history and one would know who stood for lower cast peoples first. Now when system is made in such way that until lower cast people are uplifted, there must be reservation for them, general category people are acting like there is everything equal now in India, where as trust is, there is still good amount of cast-ism being played around, in companies, universities, at various government institutes. Which in turn creates communication gap, problems don't get handled effectively just because there cast in the society.

Anyways I know many folks can't pay fees irrelevant of cast or categories. I realize that every general category people is not rich and many can't afford overwhelming fee. Hence I support what authors says, fees should be reduced for everyone, or difference in fee should not be much.

I'm won't walk biased, many deserving candidates don't get selected just because of reservation in jobs, colleges etc, but frankly one can blame the Aryans or whoever created this shitty system. And if I sound cacophonous, then have a heart and look at history, watch some documentary to know the truth.

    Regards

there should same fees for all catagories because not all sc st are poor and not all genral are rich
and some sc st fill forms as it is free but don't go for exam means loss of government money for arranging their exam seat

yes aap sahi likh rahe hai kyunki jahan tak vanchit vergo ko saman karne ki baat hai toh unhe sab suvidhayen de di gaye hain par gen/obc(creamylayer) ya kabhi kabhi gen student ko hi itni fees kyu pay karni pad rahi hai. aisa toh muslim era mein hota tha jab dauam darje ke jimmi's se jayada tax liya jata tha ab is loktantra mein kisi ek varg par pariksha ke arrangement ka total kharh dalna kahan tak sahi hai?????kuch jagah toh ye 500or above hai jaise bank,ctet,net/jrf,psu etc.. fees badhane ki bhavna ka democratic meaning to mujhe samajh mein nahi aata kyunki jab anek student ke exam dene ka kharch sarkar vehen kar sakti hai toh kuch student ko nominal fee par exam kyu nahi dene de sakti????????????????????????????????????

  32. all are equal means why they are differentiate.
the fee should be equal for all or otherwise not to collect anybody.
    why govt is giving partiallity.

    ReplyDelete
  33. At least for submission of Application fees should be equalized for all the aspirants or collect only application process fee and it shouldnt be more that 100/- per candidate....

    ReplyDelete
  34. Dear friends I agree that all candidates should be treated equally by taking nominal 200 to 300 rupees as exam fees. In the present living standards all are capable enough to pay the above mentioned fees.. Any how society will not treat all the categories equally but govt means exam commission should treat all equally by taking nominal fees.....

  35. totally agree, with the point, when government can waste taxpayers on so many useless things why cant they cut those useless things and divert a little sum of the money to application fee if they cant reduce the amount of application fee , but yes the most valid point still stands if UPSC can conduct the exam with minimal cost why cant the state government.

It seems they have made this a business, for example float 3 post and charge 1000/- and put the eligibility criteria any graduate and whole of the india will fill the application lakhs and corers of rupee fund can be gathered with this.

Please if any one can take this matter to court please do as a student we dont have that freedom and time to do but if anyone has the means please start something, you have our full support
