POWER TRANSMISSION CORPORATION OF UTTARANCHAL LTD.

Power Transmission Corporation of Uttaranchal Ltd. (PTCUL), the State Transmission Utility (STU) is responsible for executing Transmission projects of Transmission Lines. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following positions in PTCUL.

• Assistant Engineers (Trainee) : 28 (Gen-17,SC-6,ST-1,OBC-4)posts , Pay Scale : Rs. 8550-275-13500

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recogniesd institution or should have completed AMIE - Section A&B examination. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of Hindi/Devnagri script. General / OBC category candidates should have minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. Both outside and departmental SC/ST candidates should have minimum pass marks or equivalent grade. The departmental General/OBC candidates should have 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Age: General category candidates max-age 40 yrs as on 01/01/07. relaxation of 5 yrs to SC/ST candidates and 3 yrs for OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of written test followed by interview of the candidates. Date and venue for the written test shall be informed to all the eligible candidates by post and is also available on website www.ptcul.org

• Applications should be filled by the candidate in own handwriting in English CAPITAL LETTERS only on A4 size paper in the prescribed format.
• A DD of Rs. 400/- only in case of General/OBC and Rs. 200/- in case of SC/ST candidates in favour of Managing Director, Power Transmission Corporation of Uttaranchal Ltd. payable at Dehradun from a scheduled bank. Candidates must his name on the back of the DD.
