Special Recruitment drive for SC/ST
Applications under Special Recruitment Drive for eligible SC/ST candidates are invited by VNIT for the post of Lecturers in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining, Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Architecture, Applied Physics, Mathematics and Humanities.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000-275-13500/-
Qualification :
- Engineering / Technology : First Class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) / Technology (Tech.) OR First Class Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate Branch of Engineering / Technology or equivalent, valid GATE score, minimum 75 percentile; to complete M.Tech. / ME within 5 years failing which the increments will be stopped until the postgraduate degree is earned.
- Architecture : First class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Planning (ii) Registration with Council of Architecture.
- Applied Physics/ Mathematics / Humanitites : Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA i.e. 6.25 at Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Besides fulfilling above qualifications candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC / CSIR.
