Recruitment of Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable (Driver) in Delhi Police - 2007

Applications from Indian nationals are invited to fill up following vacancies in the following category. Recruitment will be held at Delhi for which candidates country fulfilling conditions will be considered :

• Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) : 03 posts (ST), Pay Scale : Rs.4500-7000/-, Age : 18 to 25 years as on 01/07/2007. , Qualification : Graduate from a recognised university or equivalent, Speed in English Shorthand 80 WPM, Speed in English Typing-40 wpm, OR Speed in Hindi Shorthand 80 WPM, Speed in Hindi Typing - 30 WPM, Physical Stantdard : 165 hieght male, 157 cm female, Chest : 78-82 cms. male
• Head Constable (Ministerial) : 70 posts (SC-12, ST-7, OBC-9, UR-42), Pay Scale : Rs.3200-4900/-, Age : 18 to 25 years as on 01/07/2007. , Qualification : Higher Secondary or equivalent, Speed in English Typing-30 wpm, OR Speed in Hindi Typing - 25 WPM, Physical Stantdard : 165 hieght male, 157 cm female, Chest : 78-82 cms. male
• Constable (Driver) : 858 posts (SC-129, ST-63, OBC-121, UR-545), Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590/-, Age : 21 to 30 years as on 01/07/2007. , Qualification : Matric (10th) or equivalent from a reognised Board. , Physical Stantdard : 170 hieght male, Chest : 81-85 cms.

Age : Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.

How to Apply : The application forms may be obtained in person from 13/11/2007 to 22/11/2007 betwee between 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM on all working days at Prov. & Logistics, Old Police Lines (near Tis Hazari Courts), 5, Rajpur Raod, Delhi at a cost of Rs.50/- and free for cost of SC/ST candidates & ex-servicemen on production of an attested copy of cates/discharge certificate, issued by the cmpenetent authority. The duly filled application form will be deposited at Prov. & Logistics, Old Police Lines (near Tis Hazari Courts), 5 , Rajpur Raod, Delhi from 13/11/2007 to 22/11/2007 upto 4.00 PM daily on all working days and on 23/11/2007 upto 6.00 PM.
