Faculty Recruitment at NIPER Ahmedabad

NIPER-Ahmedabad is looking for recruitment to Professors, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Lecturers and Laboratory Assistants in Pharmaceutics, Natural Products and Biotechnology, and Assistant Librarian:

1. Lecturer : Master’s degree in pharmacy/ science with experience, or Ph.D. in relevant area.
2. Assistant Professor : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least 5 years teaching/ research / industrial experience with published work of high quality.
3. Associate Professor : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years experience out of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
4. Professor : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years experience out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor.
5. Laboratory Assistants : Masters in Biological sciences with relevant experience in industry or academics.
6. Assistant Librarians : B.Lib/M.Lib or Diploma with 2-3 years experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in post-graduate science/pharmacy colleges..

The pay structure will be comparable to that applicable to faculty in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

All appointments are contractual in nature, which can be renewed every year depending upon performance and mutual consent.
