  2. hi guys..
banks r doing wrong towards the candidates who score gud marks in IBPS but not having gud percentage in graduation..if all remaining banks will required such qualification..then what such candidates have to do who r not eligible to fill forms. if candidates r not eligible to fill forms for interview then what benefits they get by qualifying written examination....

  3. Man...this is bad. Now they are asking for 60% marks in graduation...
Do we have a different eligibility criteria for post graduates?

Could anyone please provide me with Mr. R. K. Goyal's(General Manager, HR, BOI) corporate email address?

  4. Initially I had doubt that bank jobs are worthless but now with all the banks giving more importance to qualifying exam than their own competitive exam proves that any good student should think twice before joining these organization who doesn't even have this much intellect. These jobs might pay u heavily but one is gonna b participant of a rat race all his/her life here.

  7. IBPS exam is the biggest fraud in the history of INDIA.
1)More than 10 lakh students appeared for the exam. Just think of the fees earned bi IBPS.
2)IBPS does not declare cut off marks.
3)Worst IBPS does not have a Public Information Officer and its workings are beyond the scope of RTI Act.
    4) Banks have been minting money by charging money even for conducting interviews.
    5) The biggest beneficiary of this scam are the coaching centres who are literally minting money.
    6) Lastly I have often wonder how is it that people with no preparation for the exam (I personally know quite a few) have managed to clear the exam and others who put their heart and soul in the preparation haven't.

I dont know why banks are playing with candidates after qualifying ibps, they are imposing lots of restrictions on age.in ibps notification they given min age is 18, now they are asking above 21 candadates.what about below 21 age candidates, this is bull shit.....totally fed up with banking recruitment process

  18. Dear friends it is totally wrong the banks are demanding for 60 percent in graduation which was not the condition for ibps Exams for PO. This is tatally wrong for the student who have scored well in ibps but having low percent in gratuation.

    ReplyDelete
  19. in IBPS it was not mentioned about graduate percentage.so i think it is wrong thing .If we were applicable for IBPS then why not for banks.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Bank must decrease qualification marks in graduation, it must be 50%.
the percentage in graduation is not the scale to judge the mental ability of the person, it is the comeptiton exam. Many students get more than 70% in graduation on the basis of cheating in private colleges, so a top management of good bank like BOI can not set the such qualification for participant....
    Hopefully , the BOD shall take some corrective action in this respect;;;;
    thanks
    Prabhat

This is just ridiculous on part of banks,as they have different eligibility criterion for selection on what basis they want to segregate cwe qualified candidates where it should be only marks scored in cwe conducted by IBPS, here i want to appeal to banks kindly change your eligibility criterion to 55 per cent marks for general category candidates too,

    ReplyDelete

  42. Dear Friends, it was stated earlier also by IBPS that each bank will have its own selection criteria related to age, percentage in grad. etc, they did not impose 60 percentage bracket in grads marks so that maximum students can appear and qualify as well in exam. But as bank aspirants we all should be aware that many banks want 60% in grads. like SBI too......so why is everyone shouting on BOI now. Thoda graduation mai pad lete to aaj kaam aa jata.

Accha hai 60 % ko bada kar 65% kar dena chahiye....my score is 141 and percentage is 69 %...i think now i can expect a call.....

  64. Those people whimpering about 60% marks qualification should understand that here the post is PO. An average candidate can easily score 60% for grad. with good hard work consistently. That is the quality they are looking for here. So stop complaining.

  66. yes definately banks are playing with career, i have also scored 163 in ibps but cant apply instead having 70% in M.Sc from BHU.

So there must me OR criteria.

And I perceive we cant evaluate a person on the basis of grad marks.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bank are taking exam in present. they try to evaluate various aptitude through that exams.
if a candidate have qualified on in your exam then he have definitely that aptitude you check it by interview also so what is the need of 55% eligibility criteria in grads while we know how copies are checking in degree colleges. There is much partiality. One side govt gives Quota to SC/ST and simultaneously trying to lagging behind avg general students.

I strongly criticize this eligibility criteria condition.

it just shows they have no trust on their own exams

  84. Hi,
Guys, have u all noticed one thing? Before exams, IBPS had advertised " 66000 PO Vaccancies to be filled in next year." But can you all see now, what kind of vaccancies are coming out? SBI And SSC graduate level ka vaccancy kab ayega any idea?

    ReplyDelete
  85. SBI is not using IBPS score for selection......dear friends i came across some information...when we apply for vacancies in banks , the applications goes to IBPS not respective banks, IBPS will screen these applications and send them to banks , where they will conduct interview....after that when a candidate gets selected , he has to submit his scorecard in original with the bank. he now cannot apply to any other bank vacancy.....so we all should hope for the best , in case there are 66000 bank vacancies in PSU banks in 2012 , and nearly 112000 students have qualfied we have 50. 50 chances......best of luck....

    ReplyDelete
  86. If a Student qualify IBPS exam then why they are asking for 60% in graduation this is wrong & this is wrong with those student who cleared IBPS bt gets less than 60% in graduation

    ReplyDelete
  89. though others has passed the IBPS exam but not eligible for po interview of bank, due to low score/percentage in grads dont worry and waste your time in writting d comments or remaining in panic condition instead focus for clerk interview because they require only graduate people not percent wise so you get opportunity internally also to become PO
