Indian Railways Centralised Employment Notice No. 04/2012

No. of posts have now increased with posts of RRB Gorakhpur and Jammu & Srinagar and therefore, last dates is also extended.
Applications in the common prescribed format are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up of following Government jobs of Technicians in different Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Zonal Railways and other Railway organisation. The application should be sent directly to the respective RRBs / Zonal Offices :
  • Technician Gr.II/ Gr.III: 12042  posts in various Trades in different RRBs + 536 more posts now added from RRB Jammu & Kashmir and RRB Gorakhpur, Pay Scales: Rs. 5200 - 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400 for Gr.II and Rs. 5200 - 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900 for Gr.III, Age: 18-30 years, Written Test on 16/12/2012
    Application Fee: Rs.60/-  for Technician Gr.II and Rs.40/- Technician Gr.III posts for the General and OBC candidates only in the form of IPO / DD in favour of Assistant Secretary/Secretary/ Member Secretary/ Chairman of concerned RRB where candidate wants to apply. No examination fees for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Physically Handicapped / Women / Minorities / Economically backward classes candidates having annual family income less than Rs. 50000/-.

    How to Apply: Application in the prescribed format should be sent to the Assistant Secretary/ Member Secretary of the concerned RRB where candidate want to apply on or before 16/07/2012 now extended up to 31/07/2012 (31/07/2012 16/08/2012 for the candidates from far-flung areas). Candidates can also apply online at respective RRB websites. The envelope containing the application should be clearly super-scribed “Application for the Post/s of ___________Category No./s ________Centralised Employment Notice No. 04/2012 of RRB/ , Community (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)”.
