National Informatics Centre (NIC) is a premier Government of India Information Technology (IT) organisation instrumental in steering e-Government/e-Governance applications in government ministries/departments at the Centre, States and Districts, facilitating improvement in government services, wider transparency, promoting decentralized planning and management, resulting in better efficiency and accountability to the people of India. NIC requires Engineers for its various requirements at various levels as Scientists for the year 2022 through the recruitment process managed by NIELIT.

- Scientist-F: 02 vacancies (UR), Pay Scale: Pay Level-13A ₹131100-216600, Experience: 18 years, Age limit: 50 years
- Scientist-E: 01 vacancies (UR), Pay Scale: Pay Level-13 ₹123100-215900, Experience: 12 years, Age limit: 45 years
- Scientist-D: 12 vacancies (UR-07, EWS-01, OBC-03, SC-01), Pay Scale: Pay Level-12 ₹78800-209200, Experience: 08 years, Age limit: 40 years
- Scientist-C: 112 vacancies (UR-47, EWS-11, OBC-30, SC-16, ST-08), Pay Scale: Pay Level-11 ₹67700-208700, Experience: 04 years, Age limit: 35 years
A total of 06 posts are reserved for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in Technology (Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology) OR Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Course B-Level OR an Associate member of Institute of Engineers OR Graduate Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers OR Master’s Degree in Science (MSc) OR Master Degree in Computer Application OR Master’s Degree in Engineering OR Technology (ME or M-Tech) OR Master’s Degree in Philosophy (MPhil).
